Rocking Texas Blues

This Texas City Revelator was actually born in Texas City in 1954, and has been playing drums since 1962.

 

Tom’s first “gig” was playing for the Lord in an Assembly of God church. Although his musical journey over the past forty-five years wasn’t always a Godly one, he was blessed to play with and learn from many talented artists such as Johnnie Johnson, Bert Wills, Mark May, and many more.

 

Like the prodigal son, Tom returned home to God and began playing praise and worship once again for the Lord. “God knows the desires of our heart”, and Tom’s love of music has always been “Rock”. So Tom’s being a Texas City Revelator was an answered prayer, or as Tom says “It’s a God thang”!
